I LOVE LOVE LOVE this kitchen tool! As you already know, I'm not the greatest in the kitchen! But this makes my life soooo much easier! I always had the hardest time getting the most out of a pineapple! Now I have no trouble! These aren't the best pictures, but you get the idea! It's a P. Ch.ef tool, in case you want to run and get one!
The pineapple slicer!
Step one: Cut the top off.
Step two: Cut the bottom off.
Start slicing!
A perfectly cored pineapple!
It's crazy sharp... so you just have to be careful taking out the core! Overall, a great kitchen too!

I have a special way of getting into my pineapples! It works too! Ask Beth and well all the other bloggers that witnessed the demolishing of my poor pineapple! I bet there are still remnants of it's tragic death in my kitchen! hahahaha

J- We’re soul sisters here when it comes to our kitchen abilities. My husband didn’t trust me with anything more than microwave for the first 3 years of our marriage, and even that was only allowed under close adult supervision. (Totally unrelated, but did you know that heating a pop-tart in the microwave for 10 minutes (when you meant to hit the 10 seconds pre-set button, but instead miscalculated which button you were hitting in your morning stupor) can ruin the entire microwave and stink up your house for 2 weeks? No? I guess it’s just me then). So, I’m a wee bit better now, but even I get my pineapple via Del Monte and a can opener . . .so I’m super excited to see this gadget and am going to go buy one for myself. I do have a P chef contact, too.

I agree with Ann...I don't buy pineapples because they are so difficult to cut. But now...fresh fruit, here I come!!!

And this seriously is one of those tools that is kitchen life-changing! I hated buying pineapple --- but not now! It is so easy!! Sharp... But easy!
And Ann-- Good to know about that pop tart incident! I hadn't seen that warning label on the box! I'll be extra careful when using the microwave next time!! :)

I'm not brave enough to buy a fresh pineapple for fear I might torture it to death. Maybe with this tool...I can be brave!
ooh! I thought it was just an apple corer at first.. but a PINEAPPLE one.. now that is just cool :)
