2. I took dance lessons for almost 10 years while growing up. I took ballet, tap and jazz. My parents have all my recitals on video. They are, ummm, a sight to see. I might just have to scan in a picture or two or three. :)
We all look so talented. I'm on the far left.
You can see me on the far right this time... the only one doing the right move.
Ahh.... little Jenny.
4. I day dream about taking our very cute imaginary baby or babies to Doug's school someday to show them off to his fellow teachers and his students. I think about this everyday. It always makes me tear up... because I cannot wait for this to happen... and because I have a fear that it never will.
5. I was sorority president in college. I lived and breathed all things De.lta Gam.ma! I even had DG socks! I loved loved loved every minute of it. My very best friend was one of my pledge sisters and we had the best of times. Oh the stories she has on me!
6. I watch our wedding video ALL THE TIME! I love it and cannot get enough of it. I also watch our nuptial mass video over and over and over... and over some more. To clarify... I don't really "watch" it. I have it on my iPhone, so while I am at work, I listen to the prelude music and homily and it instantly makes any bad day I'm having at work all the better. The music is just too beautiful! I love it! Even more interesting... I NEVER watch either video at home! NEVER! See... it's not all that bad!
7. I do not dislike all animals. Yes, cats are not my favorite. I grew up with two adorable dogs that I loved so much!! Our family got B.J. (Bob Jr.) when I was in kindergarten and he lived until I was almost finished with college. My brother and I went and got a new puppy when I was in 7th grade. My parents knew nothing of this until we presented the adorable Dee Dee to my dad on his birthday... with a red bow and everything. Everyone instantly loved her and she was the best dog ever. We had her until a few years back.
Me and my first pup... B.J. He was a mix between a dachshund and bulldog.
I carried him around like that ALL THE TIME!
B.J. all grown up. He was a funny looking dog.
My super sweet Dee Dee. She was the best.
9. I was an extra in the movie Rudy! It was filmed at half-time during a game my family attended. It was awesome and very fun! You can't really see me in the movie... but still! My one line was shouting, "Rudy! Rudy!"
10. I'm obsessed with hair. I swear my hair is thinning at an alarming rate and I will go bald by the time I'm 35. My main hair obsession - eyebrows. You can't see mine they are so light... so I don't care about them. But my poor, poor DH. He has thick red eyebrow hairs that are like large neon signs to me that say, "Pick me! Pick me!" I can't stand when his eyebrows get all crazy looking. He has learned to dodge me and my giant tweezers like an expert now!! I still manage to pin him down and pluck them from time to time. Yep, I'm weird and I know it! My DH loves me anyway... even if he often runs when he sees me coming!

You were a pretty cute kid ;)
hair loss + hypo I'm afraid.
About being an extra on Rudy, COOL! I love that movie!
My husband has become an expert at dodging me with tweezers too!! It MUST be a girl thing!
I loved reading this and seeing the pics! So fun to learn more about you!
Oh my gosh, #8 is ME!!! I am exactly the same! That's why I can't grocery shop! But I can buy a house or get engaged or move to a new city with one easy decision.
I also took tap, ballet, and jazz!
And, you will definitely one day take your babies to show them off at Doug's school. One way or another, you will.
BTW, you have shamed us all by illustrating this post with photos.
You are so cute! Great list.
I love looking at old pictures!! You were quite a cute kid!! :)
Also, I'm so impressed by the mini-marathons...that's awesome! Running a marathon is on my bucket list of things to do before I die...I guess I would need to start running again though first! (It's been a couple years!)
You were a cute little girl! (I'd kill for your complexion).
Great list. Don't forget ducks. You don't like ducks either.
I had so much fun reading your list!
And for the record, I LOVE "Rudy"! I cry at the end every.single.time...
:)
Oh my gosh, those pictures are adorable!!!!
Great list Jenny, it was so much fun to read!
#4: I dream about the same thing! I also dream about taking the stroller around my school and having all the kids fawning over my cute baby.
[sigh]
You are so cute! I know we have talked about being DG's before, but have we discussed the fact that I was president too?!!!
"There's a bright golden anchor..." :)
Okay funny because while I try to keep my eyebrows in check, Bill is actually the one obsessed with hair! He is the one chasing me around with the tweezers! haha, and he spends hours in the bathroom grooming and plucking gray hairs. He will probably be mostly gray by age 30!
I love the pictures of you as a young child!
And I hope #4 happens soon-judging from your pictures, you two will have very cute children.
These were so fun to read! You were the cutest dancer! Love that pose and tutu! Also, I'd watch your wedding video all the time if I were you too- I loved it!!! :)
Love #9 Great movie! You were such a cute little dancer! :)

what a cutie you were!! and what's up movie star?? I love Rudy, watch it often = such a great great movie.
I too was sorority up to my eyeballs, Phi Mu, but my bf was DG and I was with her so much, the house mom asked her one day why they didn't put me up for homecoming court. She was like, because she is a Phi MU not DG! LOL
I love this list! You look so cute in those pics! I never got to take dance lessons as a child but always wanted to. :(
